“Bil Arabi” (In Arabic) competition

“I am the world” NGO is organizing “Bil Arabi” (In Arabic) competition for creative students.

With the technological revolution that we are experiencing and the spread of tablets, and smartphones in the youth’s daily lives, it is necessary to employ the Arabic language in social media.

If you are between 11-16 years old, love to compete, and have talents, shoot a video about yourself in the classical Arabic language.

Objectives

  • Enhancing the role of the Arabic language as a language of communication
  • Motivating creative talents and distinguished students
  • Developing digital content for the youth

Competition Rules and Regulations

  • The student chooses the content of the video, provided that it is about a special talent, a specific hobby, an activity, or a skill
  • Standard Arabic should be used as the official language of the video (videos that use other languages ​​will be disqualified)
  • The video should be free of violence or mockery
  • The video should not exceed 1 minute (videos exceeding one minute will be disqualified)
  • Videos participating in the competition remain the property of the “Ana Al-Alam” association
  • You can participate in the competition alone or as a team of three to five members at most
  • Each contestant is entitled to be a member of one team
  • Upload the video to WeTransfer and send the video to the Ana-Al-Alam email at info@iamtheworld.org. The deadline for participation is February 28, 2021

Jury and Awards

The work is evaluated by the jury based on the following criteria:

  • Creativity 60%
  • Execution 40%

The winning videos will be awarded a prize of one million Lebanese pounds, each.

Winning videos will also be published on I Am The World social media pages.
